Shirley's Memories

When "Robbi" was very young his Grandpa Zobel was taking care of him one day, when we all got home they were walking down the street and Robbi had two legs in one pant leg. Poor little kid was walking ninety miles an hour to keep up with Grandpa.

When Robbi and Richard were visiting one time we took the boys cotttontail rabbit hunting and Uncle Sterling showed the boys how to clean a rabbit without taking the skin off.

One time we had a family reunion at Mahoney State Park. Sterling said,"I'll clean all the fish you can catch." Well that day the fish were biting on anything even just a hook, finally after about 125 fish he said,"Stop no more!" We ate all the fish!!!

One time when Shar was 9 months pregnant she caught the biggest blue gill fish (one old man said hed fished there for sixty years and had never seen one that big) Lake Manawa.

Justin was with us for a few days while his folks were at a meeting. We drove out to the pasture and Sterling ask him if he'd like to drive ----he was thrilled.

I met Darren at the airport when he was very young maybe 5-6 and he stayed with us for a few days ----we played cards.

Justin visited us when he was perhaps ten or 11 years old and we went bowling. He was so young a girl in the next lane was bowling in a thong and he didn't pay any attention to her.

We probably all remember the time Bob lost the keys to his new Cadillac in the ocean and he had to call his neighbor back home to send the second set of keys.
